18 August (Monday):             Application opening
29 August (Friday):              Last date to apply for DGCA candidate
30 August (Saturday):        Election day
31 August (Sunday):              Announcement of new DGCA Team including team leads
1st Sept (Monday):                 New elected body will take charge of DGCA

Basic eligibility and requirements for candidates:
1. Should be living in Denmark on Green Card visa.
2. Should be able to spare at least 2hrs/Week for DGCA.
3. Candidate registration fee is 25 DKK

Team Structure:

Executive Board:
Executive board will oversee the activities of sub committees and teams. Criteria to become part of EB is to work for DGCA for at least one year as a team member.

Advisory Board:
Advisory board will consist of experts who can advise DGCA on different issues as volunteer.

Sub Committees (Working Teams):
There are five working teams. Each team will have one Team Lead.
Team lead will be elected by the each team itself.

1. Media, Information and Research Section:

Responsibilities:

Dgca FB group
Dgca FB page
Dgca Website
Information dissemination
Media Outreach
Photography
Videography
Gather data, extract Information from gathered data

2. Policy and strategy Section:
Discuss and formalize DGCA policies
Yearly and monthly plans
Documentation and guidelines
Visa information updates
Liaison with Immigration authorities

3. Job and career Section:
Organize a database of all green card holders
Approach companies and industry association for jobs
Organize jobs and career events in corporation with EMC.
Organize trainings and courses for members
Arrange internships

4. Finance and Secretarial Section:
Manager finances of DGCA
Start membership fee
Legal documentation of organization
Find partners for DGCA

5. Events Management Section:
Planning and executing
Monthly job seminars
Annual green card Conference
Regular meetings
Plan and manage social contribution (i.e. voluntary)
Develop cultural interaction/adaptation (i.e. cultural programs)

6. Special working groups/committees:
e.g. Special committee on New GC Rules
